We spent the holidays in Trancoso last year. What an amazing and difficult destination to get to. Trancoso is where Brazilians “summer” and ring in the New year. We joined our Brazilian friends in their annual tradition of jumping over 7 waves while making 7 wishes for the New year.
Crab is plentiful as are the cashew and passion fruit Caipiroskas. I finally became a fan of Farofa, breadcrumb-like flour that’s added to most dishes for texture.
